DEVELOPMENT OF COMPOSITE CONCRETE-POLYMER WASTE-TiO2

Abstract

Studies of the flexural and compressive strength of concrete with the substitution of 20 % of the volume of sand for waste from PVC panels have been carried out, the tests were carried out on the seventh day of hardening of the samples in the mode of humidity change from 90–95 % to 50–55 %. The effect of the PVAc additive in the amount of 10 % by weight of cement on the resulting composite was investigated. The TiO2 photocatalyst was applied to the surface of the mold to produce concrete with photocatalytic properties, as well as UV protection.
