PHYSICO-CHEMICAL ANALYSIS OF METAL COMPLEX COMPOUNDS BASED ON NEODYMIUM AND POLYELECTROLYTES FOR THE CREATION OF LIQUID ORGANIC SCINTILLATORS

Abstract

The paper presents the results of research on the production of new complex compounds of neodymium with polyelectrolyte-guanidine polymethacrylate, for the creation of liquid organic scintillators. The analysis of the composition and structure of synthesized complex compounds has been confirmed using modern physico-chemical methods. It is established that the formation of the complex occurs due to the interaction of neodymium ions with the oxygen atom of the carboxylate ion and the nitrogen atom of the amine group in a water-soluble polyelectrolyte.
