TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF THE GRUNEISEN FUNCTION FOR POLYETHYLENE AND POLYMETHYLMETHACRYLATE

Abstract

The study of the behavior of the Gruneisen function is an important characteristic for a comprehensive study of the crater formation process and the dynamics of destruction of model polymers widely used in practice and bearing extreme thermal and power loads during operation. In this regard, polyethylene and polymethylmethacrylate were selected as samples for the study, the temperature dependence of the Gruneisen function was investigated and diagrams of the state of the studied polymers were constructed.
